The first time he said "I love you"

And in an instant, her heart was full,

For he fell in love with her…

Three full moons and two lovers find their way,

through the mind that fears,

to the heart that is caged,

to a soul that is free.

Life is a paradox of opposites,

where a final destination,

in the very same instant,

is the commencement of a journey.

The night passed,

and a boy came to a girl

with his heart open for the very first time.

Her heart is full from the brutal honesty of his words,

ripping open the tears that flowed

from joy for him.

His grief has always been her grief;

her love has always been his love.

He searches for the right words,

the right feelings,

the right emotions

to express the road travelled

through the chaos of life.

This life, she wonders

how each being of energy takes.

The anatomy and physiology are identical,

yet the unravelled mystical conflict

between the heart and the mind

makes each so singular.

She, an old soul, a deep and intuitive thinker;

he is of raw energy,

a synchronised feeler,

a lifetime sufferer,

for bearing this pain grounds his soul.
